Fotoreportajul din săptămâna aceasta prezintă Sf. Liturghie a Sf.

The photo report from this week depicts the Divine Liturgy of St. James, the brother (cousin) of the Lord, the oldest Eucharistic service in the Church.

The most impressive thing in the St. James’s Liturgy is that it happens in the middle of the church, right before our eyes which gives us a much more intense feeling of the mystery.

The priests are nearly surrounded by crowd,  forming thus, the whole community, one body, praying for their salvation, seeking the unity between them and God.

However, this Liturgy is celebrated usually only on the St. James’s feast day. And I think that one of the primary reasons for this is that nowadays we don’t have anymore the needed spiritual level in order to be “one” in the middle of the church. To do so, we need to have the conscience of our weakness.
