TROPARUL CELEI DE A TREIA AFLĂRI A CINSTITULUI CAP AL SF. PR. IOAN BOTEZĂTORUL

În această lună, în ziua a douăzeci şi cincea, pomenirea celei de a treia aflări a cinstitului cap al sfântului, măritului Aflarea capului Sfantului Ioan Botezatorulprooroc şi Înaintemergător şi botezător Ioan.

Acest cinstit şi sfânt cap fiind ascuns multă vreme, acum a izbucnit din sânurile pământului, ca aurul din baie, nu închis în vas de lut ca mai înainte, ci la loc sfânt, în vas de argint. Şi fiind vestit acest lucru de un preot şi fiind adus din Comane, a fost primit de strălucita cetate a cetăţilor, împreună cu credinciosul împărat şi credinciosul popor, cu toată bucuria. Şi cu credinţă închinându-se cinstitului şi sfântului cap, acesta a fost pus la loc sfânt.

Αὐτὴ κανονικὰ θὰ ἔπρεπε νὰ θεωρεῖται ὡς δεύτερη εὕρεση, ἀφοῦ πουθενὰ δὲν ἀναφέρεται ἄλλη, παρὰ μόνο ἡ πρώτη (24 Φεβρουαρίου). Ἡ εὕρεση αὐτὴ ἔγινε ἀπὸ κάποιον ἄγνωστο ἱερέα στὰ Κόμανα τῆς Καππαδοκίας, μέσα σὲ ἀργυρὴ θήκη, σὲ ἱερὸ τόπο καὶ μεταφέρθηκε μὲ μεγάλη ἐπισημότητα καὶ πομπὴ στὴν Κωνσταντινούπολη, ὅπου κατατέθηκε στὴ Μονὴ τοῦ Στουδίου.

Ἀπολυτίκιον. Ἦχος δ’. Ταχὺ προκατάλαβε.
Ὡς θεῖον θησαύρισμα ἐγκεκρυμμένον τῇ γῇ, Χριστὸς ἀπεκάλυψε, τὴν Κεφαλήν σου ἡμῖν, Προφῆτα καὶ Πρόδρομε· πάντες οὖν συνελθόντες, ἐν τῇ ταύτης εὑρέσει, ᾄσμασι θεηγόροις, τὸν Σωτῆρα ὑμνοῦμεν, τὸν σῲζοντα ἡμᾶς ἐκ φθορᾶς, ταῖς ἱκεσίαις σου.

Προφῆτα Θεοῦ, καὶ Πρόδρομε τῆς χάριτος, τὴν Κάραν τὴν σήν, ὡς ῥόδον ἱερώτατον, ἐκ τῆς γῆς εὑράμενοι, τὰς ἰάσεις πάντοτε λαμβάνομεν, καὶ γὰρ πάλιν ὡς πρότερον, ἐν κόσμῳ κηρύττεις τὴν μετάνοιαν.

Τρίτην τῆς παντίμου σου Κεφαλῆς, μνείαν ἐκτελοῦμεν, ἣν ἐδόξασεν ἡ Τριάς, Βαπτιστὰ Κυρίου· ἐκ γῆς γὰρ τρίτως ὤφθη, μετανοεῖτε πᾶσιν, ἀνακραυγάζουσα.

Third Finding of the Honorable Head of the Holy Glorious Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist John

Commemorated on May 25

The Third Discovery of the Venerable Head of the Holy Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist John occurred in about the year 850 (see the account of the First and Second Discoveries on February 24). The head of St John the Forerunner was found in the city of Emesia during a time of unrest at Constantinople connected with the exile of St John Chrysostom (November 13).

It was transferred to Komana during the Saracen raids (about 820-820) and it was hidden in the ground during a period of iconoclastic persecution. When the veneration of icons was restored, Patriarch Ignatius (847-857) saw in a vision the place where the head of St John the Forerunner was hidden. The patriarch communicated this to the emperor, who sent a delegation to Komana. There the head was found a third time arond the year 850.

Afterwards the head was again transferred to Constantinople, and here on May 25 it was placed in a church at the court. Part of the head is on Mt. Athos. The Third Discovery of the Head of John the Baptist is commemorated on May 25.

    Minunat a fost Ioan Inaintemergatorul prin nasterea lui.
    Minunat a fost prin asceza lui.
    Minunat prin invatatura lui.
    Minunat pt ca s-a invrednicit sa boteze pe Hristos in apele Iordanului.
    Minunat sfarsit prin moartea lui muceniceasca…
    Cea mai stralucitoare stea din lumea veche,de dinaintea venirii lui Hristos,(dupa cum,Ne vorbeste Parintele Augustin de Florina)si CEL MAI MARE SFANT(o spune insusi Mantuitorul:Mt.11,11),este,BOTEZATORUL DE DUMNEZEU IOAN INAINTEMERGATORUL – PROOROC AL LUMII VECHI SI NOI,care indruma poporul spre pocainta mantuitoare,pe care o traia permanent!

    Prin Pronia Dumnezeiasca a fost descoperit si redescoperit de trei ori SFANTUL CAP AL BOTEZATORULUI,calatorind din loc in loc,ascuns,insa lucrand vindecari si minuni luminatoare.

    Luati aminte la copiii vostri!
    Cresteti-i intru invatatura si certarea Domnului!
    Saditi in ei frica de Dumnezeu!
    Paziti-i de anturajele rele!…si-atunci,copiii vostri vor fi pentru voi si pentru societate,DARURI ALE LUI DUMNEZEU!

    Atat de frumos si infricosator, spunea o femeie draga inimii mele, pe usa ingusta pe care a intrat cel mai mare dintre sfinti,va trebui sa intram si noi.Va fi greu!Sa ne rugam cu evlavie si cu frica, cu rusine pentru pacatele noastre,dar cu speranta, celui mai bland si celui mai curat dintre toti sfintii, Sfantului Ioan Botezatorul, sa mijloceasca pentru noi iertarea pacatelor, indreptare spre cele bune si placute de Dumnezeu in Treime!
